While it might not seem important in the grand scheme of things, appearance can sometimes be a factor. You have to admit, there are a few radios at your local hobby shop that you wouldn’t even consider picking up, or trying out because you didn’t like the way it looks. Those radio’s may handle great, but you just didn’t want to be caught dead holding it.
So like we mention in our reviews, this is all about the bling factor.

The 4PKS and the DX3S just have those ‘wow’ factors to them. They have a sleek look, giant information screens, and are just impressive to see someone holding.
