For Bashers, By Bashers!
2017 Rocky Mountain Hobby Expo

2017 Rocky Mountain Hobby Expo Overview

Last weekend our BigSquidRC Bash Crew made the trip to beautiful Denver, Colorado for the first ever Rocky Mountain Hobby Expo. The Rocky Mountain show was put on to showcase rc cars, airplanes, and boats, as well as model railroading and other hobbies. This year the show was two days long, both of which were open and selling to the general public.

During the two days of the show, thousands of local hobbyists were in attendance to check out the latest products. The show also had numerous make-and-take crafts, seminars, hourly door prizes, and try-me-tracks. There was certainly something for everyone at the show, and after talking to hundreds of people who attended, they all seemed to have had a fantastic time.

To give you a feel for what the show looked like, we’ve attached an enormous photo gallery below. In the pictures you can get a feel for what the convention hall looked like, as well as some the companies in attendance. Most of the pictures were shot either early or late in the day, thus making it easier to get a clear shot of the booths without so many people in the way.

We also posted pictures of the four people who took home free rc products after our world famous rc demos. Our Bash Crew put on four demos over the course of the weekend and the crowd was amazing! We’ve bashed in front of thousands of people before, but the people in Denver surprised us with their enthusiasm for the rc hobby!

Big Squid would like to send props out to the show organizers for treating us like family (and for putting up with us), we would also like to thank the thousands of people that came by our booth. Let’s not forget our prize sponsors, Hobbico and Horizon Hobby for getting us several vehicles to give away to our fans! Like several of the other exhibitors at the show, we will be back in 2018, ready to go bigger and badder!
