For Bashers, By Bashers!
HPI Savage XL 5.9 V 2.0

3 Updated Savages Being Shown By HPI

The Savage line-up of trucks from HPI Racing has earned a reputation for durability, speed, and all out bashing fun. For 2016 the HPI has updated and improved the entire line to be better than ever before.

First up is the Savage XL 5.9 2.0 (#116050). It receives a brand new F5.9 nitro engine for better acceleration and more overall power. The 5.9 sports the same TVP chassis of the Octane and comes with a 3 speed tranny to help put all the power to the ground. To increase durability, a complete set of all-metal super heavy duty drivetrain parts are used.

Ok, so the first version of the Octane didn’t go over so well, but HPI isn’t giving up on the platform. The Savage XL Octane V2 (#116386) sports a bunch of improvements to make it run better and bash harder. About that gasoline power plant… it received several improvements including a new tuned aluminum pipe, a relocated electronics box that now has large cooling vents, and the engine comes broken-in straight from the factory.

Not to be left out, the Savage XL Flux (#112609) also received numerous improvements. Heading the list is a new waterproof Flux ELH-6SWP ESC that is 6S capable and ready to put out insane power. Super heavy duty drivetrain parts come standard, as does a 3mm 7075 aluminum motor plate.
