Another JConcepts body

Got a new Stampede 4×4? Already tired of the stock body? JConcepts has a potential solution for you. That is, if you even want your Stamp to look like a Ford SVT Raptor Super Crew. If you don’t, well, what’s wrong with you? Everybody else wants one, why do you have to be so different and difficult? What would your mother say? Well, I guess there’s just no pleasing you.

For the rest of us the new body will come with all the decals that have been faithfully rendered in 1:1 style, all the officially licensed logos are present, and it has all the window masks and overspray film that you need to paint it right. JConcepts has introduced a one size fits most Ford Raptor SVT body to fit the short course class of vehicles. They have confirmed placement on the Slash, Slash 4×4, SC10, Blitz, Ultima SC, Losi XXX-SCT and Hobao | OFNA Hyper SC, which is basically just about every SC vehicle on the market! They have a new 1:1 headlight and grill treatment, extended cab with recessed windows, and front and rear fender flares for maximum clearance.

JConcepts 1979 Ford F-250 Ranger short course body

JConcepts has jumped into the WABAC machine to bring their latest Lexan release. The officially licensed 1979 Ford F-250 Ranger SCT body has all the smooth body lines that the 70s were known for. It’s made to fit the Slash, Slash 4×4, SC10, and most other 1/10 scale short course trucks. As with all JConcepts bodies it’ll come clear, and packed with the usual window masks, overspray film, and all the officially licensed Ford decals.

JConcepts doesn’t want to be left out in the rain…

In what is surely just a coincidence, JConcepts has also decided today to announce their own take on the ribbed front tire for short course trucks. The Short Course Carver features angular, directional ribs that provide more predictable handling on all kinds of surfaces from loamy to hard packed blue groove. These tires will come with JConcepts closed-cell inserts and will be available in their Blue (soft), Green (super soft), and Gold (indoor soft) compounds.

Retail price for the Carvers will be $24.00 and they should be hitting hobby shop shelves soon. Check out the JConcepts website for more info.

JConcepts Punisher for Associated RC10T4.1

JConcepts recently showed off, for the first time in public, their new Punisher cab-forward style body for the Team Associated RC10T4.1 stadium truck. It made it’s debut at the ROAR Region 4 championships where it TQ’d every round of qualifying and took 1st & 2nd places in the A-main. Certainly an impressive start for a new product. The cab-forward style is said to provide more downforce and stabilizer fins on the rear add to the overall stability of the truck. No word on when it’ll be available or for how much.

JConcepts Raptor body for Traxxas Stampede

It’s not often we get news about the Traxxas Stampede. It’s a shame really, they are fun trucks. But today JConcepts sends word that they now have a new body based on the Ford Raptor. This is an officially licensed body, so it features all the details of the full scale version, including all trademarked emblems. Window masks and a complete decal sheet are included.

Surprising no one the Punisher is now available for Associated’s RC8B-e. JConcepts debuted this body at the ROAR 2010 Electric nationals and won the whole enchilada. Now you can emulate your favorite professional racer that is sponsored by JConcepts. It’s got the cab forward design that has been so popular of late plus all the other stuff that the other Punisher bodies have. It comes from the factory clear and includes window masks, decals, and overspray film.

Check out the latest body from JConcepts. Their new Punisher body for the Serpent Cobra 811 has some pretty wicked lines. From the hard edged up front cab to the super low back end allowing the engine head to get some air. Nothing else looks like it, that’s for sure.

The Ofna Hyper 10SC and Jammin SCRT-10 are the next in line to receive the fruits of JConcepts’ labor. The Manta body for the Hyper 10SC and SCRT-10 is formed out of clear polycarbonate so you choose your paint scheme. Then just trim it and apply the included decals for a unique ride. JConcepts Ford Raptor SVT – SCT-R body for Slash, Slash 4×4, and SC10

You need a new body for your Slash 4×4. Don’t argue about it, just go get one. JConcepts is offering you another choice in bodies with their officially licensed Ford Raptor SVT SCT-R body. It’s not just available for the Slash 4×4 though, it’ll also go on a old school Slash or SC10. Of course it’s molded out of polycarbonate and is left crystal clear so you can come up with your own hot paint scheme full of skulls and flames and other XXXXtreme stuff. The headlight and grill decals are very clearly detailed to look just like the full scale stuff. Window masks, a decal sheet, and overspray film are included. The Ford Raptor SVT – SCT-R body is now available and will cost you just about $40.

JConcepts Flips Out with Flip Outs

JConcepts has a new tire for 2.2″ buggy wheels that lies somewhere between their popular Goosebumps tread and the Double Dees tread. They call them the Flip Outs and this is what they have to say about them:

Alternating center bar support provides the base for the forward traction while the small accommodating tapered pins provide the dig and flex under hard acceleration and cornering.

It’s going to be available in their super-soft green compound and it will come with foams. MSRP is about $16.00. Check out JConcepts’ site for more info.
