iHobby 2012 MRC Booth
We just dropped by the MRC/Model Rectifier Corporation booth here in Cleveland at the iHobby. While MRC isn’t showing any rc cars, they do have their popular line-up of Super Brain chargers on display, as well as a bunch of their other products. Hit up THIS link for the official MRC website.

Have you checked out our Battery Charger Shootout? You can read it HERE.

MRC RB992 Palm Charger New from MRC is the RB992 Palm Charger. Designed to charge all types of batteries, the little AC/DC Palm Charger adds accuracy and safety by bringing the technology of their Super Brain charger line with AccuteT Lithium balancing technology. It has a 5-Amp maximum output, and will charge up to 12 cell NiCD/NiMh and 1-4 cell LiPo, Li-Ion and LiFE. It’s so simple, you shouldn’t even need instructions to use it, and it also has a PC interface available!

Check out the MRC webpage for more details.

MRC Brushless Truck MRC Brushless Truggy

New from MRC are these 1/16th scale brushless Truck and Truggys! Some of the highlights are:
Included Brushless system and LiPo Pack, Oil Filled Shocks, 3 differentials, full ball bearings, blue anodized aluminum shock towers and upper plate, 30mph, and what looks like a transparent blue steering servo! Not sure that will be in the final production model or not.

I have to say, I like seeing RTR’s coming with brushless and LiPo’s right out of the box.

MRC Brushless Buggy MRC Brushless Buggy
We just received word from MRC about their new 1/8th scale Brushless RTR Buggy and Truggy! Here are the highlights:
51+ Mph, Hardened aluminum chassis and parts, Big Bore threaded aluminum shocks, anti roll bars, 3 differentials, fully programmable fan cooled ESC, 2700 Kv Brushless Motor, dual 4000mAh 2s ROAR Approved hard cased LiPO Packs. A RTR that comes with LiPo’s?

RC Go Kart MRC has just sent us a flyer showing off their new Nitro RC Go Kart! The price is pretty cheap, (not sure they wanted us to show that part off). It has some very interesting features, like belt driven, rotating steering wheel, and a backlit steering wheel on the transmitter! It comes RTR for your street or track. Sounds interesting enough to take a look if I see one in a shop.

Word from MRC today is that the new XRB Bell 222 indoor four blade helicopter is now shipping. It is supposed to be easy to fly, as well as safe for new pilots with blades that shatter on impact. I have personally witnessed these types of blades shattering, and it’s pretty wild. If you are looking for the next step up from that cheap toy store version, this would probably be a good choice. All the details were posted in the NEW Product Forum.
