Team Associated RC10 Classic #6001

There is huge news out of the Team Associated camp- they have just announced that they are doing a re-release of the original RC10 buggy. The original RC10 was a legendary buggy that got countless people into the hobby and revolutionized the sport of rc racing.

Associated Drift Tires for the 1:10 Scale Apex Touring

Team Associated has announced new drift tires for their Apex Touring Car. The new Associated pre-mounted drift tires also fit on any touring car with a standard 12mm hex. If your big thing is going slide-ways these should be worth a look.

Reedy 4S 4600mAh 55C 14.8V LiPo Battery

The crew over at Reedy have a new Lipo battery ready to power your 8th scale buggy or truggy. The latest Reedy Lipo is 4S (14.8 volts) and rated for 4600 mah of capacity to provide long run-times. The new Reedy is stated to handle 55C worth of continuous discharge and be capable of a 2C charge rate (9.2 amps). 5mm bullets are used to connect the wiring to the pack.

Part number for the Reedy 4S 4600 55C is #311 (cool band btw), they should start hitting hobby shops in late June, and they have a street price of $170. Check out THIS LINK for more information over on the official Team Associated website.

XP Digital Servo’s from Associated

Associated has just announced their new line-up of XP Digital Servo’s. The new XP servo’s come with O-rings to help them be water-resistant, they also come with metal gears for durability (on MG models). In all there are 5 different models ranging in torque from 52 to 138 oz/inch. Speed on all the new digital XP servo’s is .15 (all ratings at 6 volts).

Associated RC10B4.2 Race Spec Brushless RTR

One of the longest proven buggy platforms on the market is the legendary RC10B4. The newest version of the B4 is the RC10B4.2 Race Spec. This is a brushless RTR buggy that includes several upgrades over previous versions, and comes with waterproofing to appeal to bashers. The RC10B4.2 RS is low to the ground for great corner speed and there are tons of aftermarket already on the market that will bolt right up.

Some of the features on the RC10B4.2 Race Spec include- digital metal gear steering servo, 3300kv brushless motor, 2.4 GHz radio system, and water resistant speed control and receiver box. Associated T4.2RS Brushless RTR Stadium Truck

The Associated T4 platform lives on, the latest version being the T4.2RS Brushless RTR. The T4.2RS has received some updates like an Associated XP 2.4GHz radio, an XP digital metal gear servo, and waterproof components such as the speed controller and receiver box. With big power from a 3300kv motor the T4.2RS should be a nice bash machine.

JConcepts RC8.2 Silencer Clear Buggy Body

The new Silencer body for the Associated RC8.2 was designed for optimal performance on high speed tracks. A narrow cockpit area gives better access to the fuel tank and helps airflow back to the engine head. Dual channeling rear air escape and overall low profile also aid in handling.

Part number on the JConcepts Silencer for the Associated RC8.2 is #0256 and it has a street price of $31.

Team Associated Qualifier Series Rival Mini Monster RTR

Associated’s new basher line, the Qualifier Series, keeps getting bigger. The latest vehicle to be announced is the Rival Mini Monster RTR.

The Rival Mini Monster comes with a 2.4 Ghz radio system, four oil filled shocks, 370 brushed motor, and 6 cell Ni-MH battery pack. Team Associated 1:18 Qualifier Series APEX Mini Touring RTR

The latest member of the Qualifier Series from Team Associated is the Apex Mini Touring RTR. The Apex Mini is based off the older RC18 series and comes in two different color schemes. Some of the primary features include-

Team Associated RC8.2 RS RTR Nitro Buggy

It’s spring, time to bust those nitro burners back out again and Associated has announced their new RC8.2 Race-Spec RTR buggy. It’s an 8th scale off-roader that should not only be great at the track, but also great fun at your local bash area.

There are a host of upgrades to the new 8.2 version, and it comes with all the features you are looking for in an 8th scale RTR buggy. The newest Associated comes standard with a 2.4 GHz radio system, a .21 pull start engine, big bore shocks, 3mm towers, and a tuned pipe. The part number is #80909, street price is $499, and they should be available next month.

Team Associated SC10.2 Factory Team Kit

The latest truck from Team Associated is the SC10.2 Factory Team kit. This is their 2wd short course truck that was originally based off the T4 platform. Now, in the SC10.2 FT version, there are refinements from front to rear. The biggest changes include new Big Bore 12mm shocks, gull wing front a-arms, and Associated’s VTS Slipper Clutch.
