Weld Racing Aluminum Wheels for the Traxxas Funny Car

The Traxxas crew has just announced new Weld Racing Aluminum Wheels for their popular Funny Car. The new Weld wheels are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and come laser etched for a trick look.

Part #6968 is the rear wheels, which come pre-glued with belted tires rated for 70+ mph. Part #6969 are the fronts which also come pre-mounted with 70+ mph tires. Pricing is $125 for the rears, and $45 for the fronts. Click HERE for the official Traxxas webpage.

RadShapeRC Box Trailer Kit

Looking to add more scale realism to your truck? Why not put a trailer behind it?

RadShapeRC might just have what you are looking for. The RadShapeRC Box Trailer is an actual kit that you have to put together. It comes with laser cut panels that mount to a precision machined aluminuim chassis. Dual mounted axles are used for greater strength and shielded bearings keep things rolling smoothly. The kit doesn’t come with wheels but is perfect for bolting up the 1.9′s of your choice. The part number is #RRCCT03 while the street price is £99 (about $150 US). RadShapeRC doesn’t have a distributor here in the US (yet), but you can get more information on their Official Website.

Flyzone Mini-Switch 2 in 1 Sport EP Airplane

While walking through the Hobbico booth at the 2013 Weak Signals Show we got a good look at the new Flyzone Mini-Switch 2 in 1 airplane. The Mini-Switch is a great choice for entry level flyers – you set-up it in high-wing configuration to start on and when your flying skills advance you switch it over to low-wing mode allowing aerobatic flight. That’s what makes the Mini-Switch special, it comes with what you need to go from first time flyer to something a bit sportier right in the box.

Other features of the Mini-Switch include – brushless motor and speed control, easy access hatch, and it’s even constructed out of AeroCell foam to make it extra tough. The Mini-Switch is available as an RTF (part #FLZA3320, $220) which comes with everything you need to get going right in the box, or as a Tx-R (part #FLZA3322, $150) that saves you some cash and allows you to use your own transmitter. Associated RC10B4.2 Race Spec Brushless RTR

One of the longest proven buggy platforms on the market is the legendary RC10B4. The newest version of the B4 is the RC10B4.2 Race Spec. This is a brushless RTR buggy that includes several upgrades over previous versions, and comes with waterproofing to appeal to bashers. The RC10B4.2 RS is low to the ground for great corner speed and there are tons of aftermarket already on the market that will bolt right up.

Some of the features on the RC10B4.2 Race Spec include- digital metal gear steering servo, 3300kv brushless motor, 2.4 GHz radio system, and water resistant speed control and receiver box. XRay RX8 2013 8th Scale Nitro Kit

XRay has just announced their newly upgraded 8th scale nitro on-road car, the RX8 ’13.
The new RX8 boasts a bunch of improvements, most notably- a new clutch, low pro shock set-up, and a new fuel tank. All the changes are said to make the RX8 easier to drive, faster, and even more reliable.

Venom Pro Charger 2 & PS 600 Power Supply

Venom Group is introducing a new battery charger and a power supply for the summer bash season.

The new Venom Pro Charger 2 comes with an internal power supply and is capable of charging at up to 6 amps. Some of its other features include- can charge up to 6S Lipo, on-board balance block, fan cooled, five memory profiles, and comes with 9 of the most popular charge leads. The part number is #677, the street price is $69, and it is expect to hit hobby shop shelves in mid-May.

Also new from Venom is their PS 600 Power Supply. This is a dual output unit that is constructed out of stamped steel. For power, the PS 600 is good for up to 40 amps (600 watts max) and it has an adjustable output of zero to twenty volts. A backlit LED screen makes it easy to read while a fan helps it to keep its cool. The part number is #0673, the street price is $199, and it has an expected release date of late May.

Associated T4.2RS Brushless RTR Stadium Truck

The Associated T4 platform lives on, the latest version being the T4.2RS Brushless RTR. The T4.2RS has received some updates like an Associated XP 2.4GHz radio, an XP digital metal gear servo, and waterproof components such as the speed controller and receiver box. With big power from a 3300kv motor the T4.2RS should be a nice bash machine.

RadShapeRC Axial SCX10 Bull Bar with Winch Plate

The scale scene continues to blow up, more and more people are tricking out their trucks, making them tougher and even more scale looking for trail running on the weekends. Along with all the popularity has come a plethora of aftermarket hop-up companies.

There is a UK based company called RadShapeRC that is putting out some pretty cool scale parts for the Axial SCX10 series trucks. One of their latest products is a Bull Bar with Winch Plate made specifically for the SCX10. Not only does it look scale but it’s built tough for those long days on the trail. There is more information to come on this one such as part number and pricing, we’ll post it when we learn more.

JConcepts RC8.2 Silencer Clear Buggy Body

The new Silencer body for the Associated RC8.2 was designed for optimal performance on high speed tracks. A narrow cockpit area gives better access to the fuel tank and helps airflow back to the engine head. Dual channeling rear air escape and overall low profile also aid in handling.

Team Durango has a new electric truggy on the way called the DEX408T. They’ve been teasing it for a while as being an all new and uber piece of rc machinery. Information is still rather scarce on the truggy, but Team Durango recently posted their unboxing video to show all the goodness contained within the DEX408T box. Teaser – Hobby Pro USA 2wd 10th Scale Buggy

The crew over at Hobby Pro USA have just sent out teaser pictures of their new 2wd 10th scale competition buggy. Hobby Pro has been known more for their 8th scale gear, but now they are branching out to the very popular 10th scale buggy class with a car that is said to be made from the finest materials and designed to race at the highest levels.
