With Rally cars being all the rage suddenly, we also got our hands on the new Thunder Tiger 1/8 ER4 G3 BL RTR Mini Cooper Countryman.
Don’t let the Mini Cooper appearance fool you because this beast is based on the Thunder Tiger MT4 we awarded Bash Vehicle of the Year to in 2011! If there is going to be a rally car war, the folks at Thunder Tiger have a vehicle that will be tough to beat.

Recently announced was the new Thunder Tiger ER-4 G3 Mini Countryman RTR Rally Car. This is an 8th scale brushless electric 4wd rally car based on one of Thunder Tigers most popular platforms. Some of the features are-

Thunder Tiger Desperado Jr. Catamaran

Have the need to get out into the water? Thunder Tiger has a new rc boat called the Desperado Jr. Catamaran. It’s a RTR with a magnetic hatch for quick access to the insides, waterproof box for the receiver, and a flexing rudder to help limit damage if you happen to bump anything. (Something Bill and I could make good use for.. lol) Also included is a water-cooled outrunner brushless motor and a 2.4GHz radio. All that for a price around $220! To give you an idea of size, it’s about 27 inches (690mm) long.
