Tower Hobbies Cutback UnboxingThe folks at Tower Hobbies have been a cornerstone for the rc hobby for decades, perhaps getting more new people into the hobby than any other single retailer. Tower recently announced a new 4wd SCT called the Cutback. The Cutback is aimed right at the bashing crowd and comes RTR, making it easy to go right from the box to the backyard.

While we were unboxing our review Cutback we took a bunch of pictures to show you at home exactly what it looks like to crack the box open. As you can see in the galleries below, the Cutback comes with a sharp looking body, quality hex hardware, and a 4-pole 3600kV brushless system. If the weather holds out we should be able to post our full review sometime next week.

The Cutback is priced at only $299 and you can be the first person in your bashing circle to own one by Pre-Ordering over on the Tower Hobbies website.

people of efest 2013 volume 2
Pictured above with the BSRC crew is Kevin Hisel, a man you might recognize from that big thick Tower Hobbies catalog you get every few months. Kevin is VP at Tower and was one of the many industry people that made eFest a very special event. eFest was a great place to actually talk with the people that have made and shaped our hobby, just as it was for talking to people that drove 8 hours just to enjoy flying their plane indoors and hang out with their fellow hobbyists. Check out the galleries below to see even more happy hobbyists, and hit up THIS link for more eFest 2013 coverage.

New from Tower Hobbies comes the F6F Hellcat. The F6F Hellcat was designed after the success of the F4F Wildcat during WWII.
