Pro-Line Trencher 2.2” 1:16 E-REVO Tires

After a Sneak Peak, Pro-Line have officially announced their new Trencher tires for Traxxas 1:16 Revo. All you hardcore bashers out there already know how kick butt Trenchers are- they give great traction on nearly any surface and last a very long time. Trenchers might very well be the best basher tire that money can buy and now you can get them for your Mini Revo.

The Trencher 2.2 uses horizontal “H” shaped tread for outstanding forward bite and have a height of 3.62″ and a width of 1.73″. Save Money – Traxxas Lipo Ready Models Without Battery Packs

Notice how much Traxxas prices have went up lately? You can save some cash as Traxxas is now offering many of their Lipo ready models without battery packs. This saves you money and nobody likes paying extra for battery packs they don’t want or need. Traxxas still includes a Lipo battery charger with all the trucks, two chargers on models that use dual battery packs.

New models that come without battery include-

3607X Stampede VXL 1/10 scale monster truck, street- $330

MIP Race Duty Aluminum CVD’s for Traxxas

MIP continues to unleash cool new products, their latest is Race Duty Aluminum CVD’s for select Traxxas vehicles.

The Race Duty CVD bones are made out of aluminum, thus saving weight and reducing rotating mass. Less rotating mass yields quicker acceleration and longer run-times, something everyone is looking for. Steel is used for the out-drives and axles for increased durability.

MIP part number #13105 is for the front of the Traxxas Rally and Slash 4×4 while part number #13115 fits the rear. For the Traxxas Stampede or Rustler you’ll want part number #13110. Retail pricing is $60 a pair, for more information THIS is the link to the MIP website.

Traxxas 1/5 Scale Rumor Mill!

File this one deep in the rumor mill drawer, but we have started hearing some rumblings about a possible new 1/5th scale coming from Traxxas! This is one of those brothers, uncle’s, roomate’s cat sort of deals, but the last time we reported a Lowered Slash Traxxas Rumor we got a LCG chassis a few months later, and the one before that we heard about a dragster with a timing system…. just saying..
To add some even more crazy to the rumor, we heard something along the lines of a dragster/funny car! I could believe a 5th scale.. but a 5th scale funny car? While there would be a few people that would LOVE it.. because I know a handful of people who actually run large scale drag racing.. I’d have to think that is not where the big sales numbers are at.

Take it for what it’s worth.. just a rumor.. any takers on this one? Comments are open.. lets hear em!

Weld Racing Aluminum Wheels for the Traxxas Funny Car

The Traxxas crew has just announced new Weld Racing Aluminum Wheels for their popular Funny Car. The new Weld wheels are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and come laser etched for a trick look.

Part #6968 is the rear wheels, which come pre-glued with belted tires rated for 70+ mph. Part #6969 are the fronts which also come pre-mounted with 70+ mph tires. Pricing is $125 for the rears, and $45 for the fronts. Click HERE for the official Traxxas webpage.

Traxxas TRA36054 Stampede Now Shipping with TQ 2.4 GHz Radio System

The brushed 2wd Traxxas Stampede monster truck has been a favorite among bashers for years. The days of worrying about frequency conflicts are over, now they are shipping with the Traxxas TQ 2.4 GHz radio system for your driving enjoyment.

The Stampede comes with a brushless ready transmission, ProGraphix body, waterproof XL-5 speed controller, TQ 2.4 GHz radio system and Titan 12-Turn motor. Traxxas Anodized Aluminum 12mm Hex Wheel Adapters

Want to put some uber strong driveshafts on your Traxxas Slash 4×4, Stampede 4×4, or Traxxas Rally car? With the new Traxxas #6869 12mm wheel adapters you can use the heavy duty steel-splined driveshafts that were originally designed for the XO-1 supercar. The new 12mm hex’s have a 6mm inner diameter, thus allowing use of the heavier driveshafts. A drill bit is included to make a larger hole in your wheels allowing the beefier shafts to fit through.

Detailed instructions come with the hex adapters and you’ll need part numbers #6451 (front driveshafts x2), #6452 (rear driveshafts x2), #6439 (steering blocks), #6455 (axle carriers), #5117 (bearings x3) to complete the conversion. With the retail price of the Traxxas #6869 12mm hex adapters being $28, you are looking at roughly $200 to do the complete conversion, but once completed you are that much closer to a bomb-proof drivetrain.
