Gasoline Fever seems to be sweeping over the rc world right now. The HPI Savage Octane has just hit the market, and the Losi LST XXL-2 is just around the corner (the latest we’ve heard is they are about 2 weeks from shipping).
The folks over at Horizon Hobby have released a new video of their gasoline powered LST XXL-2. The video features plenty of rough off-road bashing and there are several parts in the video where you can hear the engine working. From the video it sounds like the engine rips, and it looks like the XXL-2 is up for some serious bashing.

Team Orion has come up with a nifty way of answering the age old question, “Is that pack charged?”. With Orion’s new LED Voltage Control System all you have to do is press a button on the end of the pack to see if the pack is fully charged, empty, or partially charged. The Orion LED voltage system is fast, easy to use, and can’t get lost in your pit box like other voltage meters can.

If you watch one RC video today, it should be this one! It has drifting, scale looks, action, and a crazy premise. It’s also really well done. I was amazed to see they didn’t wimp out and go all CGI special effects but actually really did the full setup.
Don’t believe it? You can watch the ‘making of’ RIGHT HERE.

File this under wowza.. Here is video of two RC helicopters lifting a woman off the ground. This is crazy on all sorts of levels, from dangerous to mind blowing that they didn’t just slam into each other. It had to take a TON of practice and trial runs to get this right. Either way, it’s impressive and a must see!

Check out the video of the Corvette Museum sink hole from a quadcopter camera. Not the best flying in the world, but still cool to see how deep inside this thing is, and how scary the rest is. No way you’d catch us standing nearly that close to the edge knowing there’s nothing under most of that floor.
Need to send 3DBill down there, he would of been doing rolls and flips, probably would of flown inside one of the Corvettes!
