Something to pass the time, I kept sayin I have enough spare parts to build another car.or two. Well here is one thats almost done. The only thing I had to buy was the FunnyCar Body, wheelie bar and the small front wheels. The things that I have to do complete the car is finish the steering, add the micro fuel tank, reciever and cell pack and fire it up for break-in and to start setting the pipe. Oh yeah.......Paint, Anyone have any paint ideas???? I'm thinking a Pearl Yellow. 8)

Speaking of something different, here are a couple of pics of my Pro Mod. I decided to go with a completly different design, and so far its been pretty good.

That car is really beautiful. I absolutely love to see photos of cars without the body covering up the good stuff. Nice job.

Now get that motor tuned. ;)

Thanks Wrench, I got the motor tuned towards the end and I could make full speed run's. I had to go super lean on the top end needle and the car was fine. Just took me a few hours to figure it out. :D :D

Ken I like the mid-engine chassis but I'm a tad to vested into the standard chassis to start stocking up on the mid. How does it handle? it looks to be a cool setup. Looks like you got your game face on this year, I can't wait to line up with you and share a laugh or two. I know I will be dangerous with my P-mod but I'm having way too much fun throwing different cars on the line.

I took the car out for the first time at Badgerland this past weekend and the Kangaroo motor was giving me issues. It needed to be really lean comared to the RB motors I had before. Once I got the motor leaned out it was good. Car left really good and I had to take some clutch away to get off the line straight. The car tracked very straight and watching some video's of the car it was definately running some good numbers. I am pretty happy considereing the car has about five full throttle passes on it.

The car seems pretty balanced with the mid engine, I was concerned with making the smaller width tire hook up, but that was no problem at all.

I will be at Lynwood this weekend, we can line them up and have some fun.

Don't worry I don't claim to be the best engine tuner in the area but I'm always there to help out anyone ( FOR FREE ). And I've always said if a guy has the goods to do me in, I'll help him beat me.
