hi i need to know whats a better setup a mamba 7700 system or a novack ss 5800 both are brushless this would be going in a 12' based prostock car. thanks!

I think the better choice would be a Novarossi but if you must go FE then Da Mamba!!!

Hard to tell yet.
The Mamba setups are being used all over the place, and producing good results. However, people are still experiencing the "mamba shuffle" off the line, where the motor wants to turn backwards a quarter rotation or so before shooting forward.
The Novak systems are being experimented with by a few racers, most notably Tim Smith in California, and they're showing great promise, being very consistent and (being sensored) not experiencing that takeoff problem.
Also, although Tim and others are still in test mode with the Novak systems (he's working directly with Bob Novak and Charlie Suangka), they're generally doing 4 to 6 cell Lipo testing, not two or three lipo cell or six or eight round cell class "ProStock" configurations (according to what ever rules package you'll be running under).
Truth is, nobody has a definitive answer as to what will work best with lower cell counts quite yet.
