OK modrod enough ! There are rules here maybe you should read them .

Here it is if you cant find them better yet I will post for all to see

First things first. Welcome to all the new members of the BigSquidRC Forums. It is great to see the forums starting to grow. But as with all things, growth sometimes has a few downsides. We want to keep the forums fun and helpful for all the members and guests, but in order to do this, there needs to be some rules. Hopefully the addition of these rules will help the forum grow and be a fun and informative place for all.

Have respect for the other members-

This shouldn't need any explanation. Keep in mind, typed words on a screen DON'T show expression. Even though your comments may only be in fun, other people may not see it that way. Trash talking may work with close friends, but if someone doesn't know you, they probably don't know your personality.

NO Flame wars-

Let's not start threads that are intended to start an argument (ex. Ford vs. Chevy, Political views, etc.) Everybody is entitled to their own opinion, and most people feel very strongly about some of their opinions. It is ok to express your likes or dislikes about something, but DO NOT try to force these opinions on others. Just because you don't like __________ doesn't mean that everyone should share the same view.

This also means, no baiting which means, no trying to start arguments with subjects or comments you know will upset others.

Keep language suitable for all viewers-

There are many people who visit BigSquidRC for information and support. Please remember, some of these guests may be children. Again, just because you use that language around your kids, or your parents use it around you, doesn't mean it is suitable for everybody.

Please try to stay within the boundaries of these rules.

If we notice things getting out of hand, First there will be a warning issued, from there, a temporary ban and if the problems persist, the final step will be a permanent IP ban.

Finally, please respect the Moderators! They don't get paid to be here, and they really don't like having to play referee, but they do enforce the rules when needed. So please play nice.

Again, welcome to the forums. Go post!

Big Squid RC

oh the rules...are just for the fact of persenting in a likeable manner for readers. That does not constitute that the fact remains that the blockheads that shows up for know good reasons that they should follow the right rules not alter rules to fit their selfish ways, having fun just dont go one way only... :!:

Whats up guys? Whats up with this 220 ft ??? In real drag racing thats like a 1/2 mile. that scale is way wrong. But if you like running something that will take you no where. More power to you. Remember rc is to have fun with too. As for me am all about the 132 ft .It's the real scale for rc drag. So i set my cars to run 132 ft. No reason to change them the day befor an event so i can run 132 ft. But if you run the 220 ft . Thats fine by me. I say have fun with it. But remember gearing is way off for 132 ft. So you will need to change it to places good numbers..Just my thought guys

Jayson is Right the Rule book is IN Print Right Now..As for the Lenght of a Drag strip,, 10th scale Drag Strips are 1/10th the size of a Real one.. A Real Drag Strip is 1320 feet long,,,, 1/10th of that is 132 feet..A 1/8th scale Drag strip is 165 feet long....a 1/4 scale drag strip is 528 feet long........ A Drag strip in 10th scale Cant be 220 feet Or in full size 2200 feet...This Just makes NO sence at All....Making a strip 220 is only done because some guys Cant or just dont know how to Gear their cars to Run 132 feet...Just because some CHGO races has had 220 foot strips in the past DONT meen it was right... Learning the Wrong way Just makes it harder for Guys to Learn the Correct way of 1/10th scale Drag Racing..... It is Not hard to Re Gear a car to Run 132 feet and Getting the most out of it,, or at least close to it... Please Guys Just Do the Math...John..
