I got my GMS rail and new chassis for my pro-stock about the middle of the week and started wrenching------barely got the two together for some test and tune passes at Lynwood Sat. Speed control issues kept the pro-stock on the pit table. But thats ok I'm putting back in the switches and my RAE motor for some testing in a couple of weeks because I can't make to the track next week--going to the NMRA event in KY with my Stang.
Anyway I was able to make about 5 passes with the rail ------4 passes in the 1.72@ anywhere from 56mph to 72mph,for some reason or another I kept lifting off the throttle at the far end of the track. Probably NERVES(the rail got airborne right before the finish line on my third pass) Happy to report that the only damage was ruined rear tires and no time slip.
I made a few adjustments and went back out for my final pass of the eve.
1.621 @ 96MPH!!!!
Was I happy? HELL YEAH !

Which pass you talking about, the 96mph or the one where he turned his rail into an airplane
