There will be a 4x4 get together at Leisure Hours Raceway at there rock crawling courses On Sunday November 23rd at 10 a.m. If it's wet out on the 23rd the make up day will be Sunday the 30th at 10 a.m. Wear warm clothes, bring a good pair of boots in case it's muddy and park in there front parking lot if it's muddy in the rear. Any r/c 4x4 can come. This is not a rock crawler competion it's just for fun, practice and to hang out with other fellow rc 4x4ers.

I have no idea what's going on that day, but I'll pencil it in!

FOR THE FUN CRAWL ,

THE TRACK HAS INDOOR 1/8 NITRO ON SUNDAY MORNINGS SO IF YOUR NOT ON 2.4 GIG RADIOS AND ARE ON REG FREQ YOU CANT CRAWL! SO YOU DONT INTERFERRE WITH THE GUYS RACING INSIDE.

THE RULE IS[ ALL CRAWLING DONE ON RACE DAYS CRAWLERS MUST BE ON 2.4] .SORRY

YOU CAN CRAWL AFTER THE RACE WITH NO RADIO CONFLICT BUT DAYLIGHT IS A PROBLEM!

SCOTT IS WORKING ON A PLAN FOR A PORTIBLE CLIMB COURSE FOR THE INSIDE OFFROAD TRACK ANY IDEAS??

I wanted to have the practice at 9 a.m. because LHR opens at 10 a.m. but jetboat told me that Bernie said we would have to be done by 12 noon and jetboat thinks the metal from inside the building would sheild any radio freq. besides 2.4 ghz

Well maybe you should get up with jetboat and the rest of the scrc club to get ideas from them about what they would like to see in the course and how big they would want it. I think the bigger the better. I don't know how many gates they usually like to run in a competion. You might want to try the rccrawler website under rock crawling and and under scrc forum to get members to input on the portable indoor course you plan on making. Also try there scrc forum on here. What if we had the crawler practice earlier before lhr opened? Say 9 a.m. and you open at 10 a.m. So we would stop at 10 a.m.

I just called up The Leisure Hours hobby shop today and talked with Scott. He said it would be alright if we had the practice at 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. only. So the dates and times are Sunday the 23rd at 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. only. If it's wet out that day the make up day will be Sunday the 30th at 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. only. Any 4x4s with any radio controller can come.

The LHR Practice is Cancelled because they are racing until 6 p.m. on sunday and it would be dark by the time they got done. Others didn't want to meet from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. so this is called off.

I'm still going tomorrow if it doesn't rain or snow. The practice is a 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. unless you have a 2.4 ghz controller then you can crawl after 12 Bernie said from LHR. I got allot of replies in the crawler website but I don't know how many will show up tomorrow.
