I started racing this weekend and the friend I met and went to the races with came up with a great way to save his SCT body. He suggested Shoe Goo! He takes a rubber glove and smeared a thin layer of shoe goo inside the body. Just a thin layer inside the entire body and a little tape where it rubs. Hes been using the same body for almost a year! Its still it great shape! It still is succeptable to breaking and cracking ofcourse, but its 100% stronger. My first day ay the track with a brand new body and I game home with two very small cracks. So this tells me that within a few months the bosy would be beat. Like most of the other bodies I seen. He's gottin a few small cracks over time, but Im amazied at how many races this trucks gone through with no "real" damage.
I only coated around the bottom of the body about half way up so I could do my Maxx with the other half the tube. But after its dry you can tell it increases the durability alot!
I think this is big squid worthy! This guy deserves a Basher Award for thinking of this!
