hi there heres the next mod on the list.The dewalt motor.
Brushes removed.

pinion cut off

checking the install may need a spacer between motor and plate but have to wait for pinion to turn up before i start cutting anything and to put a flat on shaft.

started off with 20t pinion and 72t spur second gear ran how i would like first gear to run.
1st gear was pure crawler set up
tried 24t pinion and 66t spur wasn`t that good had no gravel speed with 2nd gear and 1st gear was to fast for crawler speed
because of the transmission in the way i`m stuck for sizes i got a 64t spur but the 24t pinion doesn`t reach the spur bacause the motor touches the transmission.
to get a bigger pinion i have to get one from the u.s. as 24t is the biggest i could find in u.k.
so either castle creations or kershaw designs 32dp with 5mm bore prob go with 28t and work around that with spurs
