I'm trying to build a virtually indestructable basher, if that's even possible...

I already have rpm rear bearing carriers, front & rear arms, front & rear bumpers, shock towers and nerf bars installed. Just wondering if I should go with aluminum where ever there is a bearing.

Any pros, cons or suggestions?

The only tip I can say is that after milling out some custom lower a-arms for an obscure brand truck I had (Hobby people) that they were really strong and everything and never broke or bent. However the next component in the chain was now the weak link, the pivot mount and hinge pin were now taking the full force of impact and failing but usually not catastrophically and not as often. You may want to consider this mod, after breaking several body posts and mounts (and then going the nylon route, AKA RC10 retro) I made some from rubber. Now they flex instead of breaking. Drilling rubber is kind of weird though.
