i am going to buy a new igniter and i have seen these venom ones that look pretty cool are they any good or should i get the normal one you can buy from the hobby store and do they run on just a c size or is it a rechargable thanks boaz

It runs on a rechargable. You don't want to keep tossing in fresh batteries. It should be available at all hobbyshops. And it's a good price. I have not used one yet, but there isn't much you can screw up with a igniter.

purchase a 11.5 hobbico batterie and a glow plug lead --it all costs about 13 bucks lasts for two years as long as you dont let the leads touch when storing---i race and use this setup for every vehicle---BELIEVE ME i have dozens of glow ignitors laying around they are garbage---
you can get the hole thing from hobby towns---and you only need one battery and one lead for every car-----sorry i dont know how to post a picture ---but it is a square 4 inch tall battry with two posts on top --the lead is about two foot long and is real lite---i usually never take it out the tool box i just run the wires out ---you will be extremely happy wit this set up---tim
