How did the batteries turn out? Hopefully they worked right. I still can't understand why a set of 6 only showed 1.2 volts (and YES, I did check the polarities 3 times before soldering). lol I'm thinking that maybe Venom shipped them completely drained. Hopfully cycling them brings the voltage up.

I didn't get a chance to cycle them yet. I wanted to make sure I could 'baby sit' them just incase. So that's the plan for this evening! I'll let you know how it goes.

Well, it's on it's 3rd cycle... and it finally looks like it's taking a charge. Lets just hope I don't have to go running out into the yard again with this pack!
Speaking of batteries, I just got my hands on some of the new LiMn's!
They look pretty cool. I need to find a car to run these things in. I haven't done electric in a long time. Anyone got an e-max?
Might have to dust off the RC-10!

Sounds good so far. Hopefully they work.
As for electrics, newguyjr has a Sprint..... I'm sure I could get my hands on it for a while.

Well, after about 5 cycles, it finally charged past 300mah. This time it got to about 1100 when it started to get a little warm for my liking so I pulled the plug. So now we'll just have to see how it does. Hopefully they work! (fingers crossed)

What charging rate are you using? Usually, for 2/3A size batteries, you should keep the charging rate below 1.0 Amps. I usually charge at .5 amps. It takes a little longer, but since it charges slower, it doesn't get as hot, and will peak a little higher than a faster charge rate.

I have been doing the charging at 1.0A.
I tried a pack at 1.2 once, and it went boom! The box for the battries says to charge between 1.0A and 2.0A.
Maybe I'll bump it down a little... I'm just not a patient guy.
