Kershaw Designs Revolver Motors are great. I had a Ezrun(which Ive had outstanding success with the many hobbywing products Ive owned) 3665 2300kv motor which was honest;y plenty powerful and obtained decent speeds on 2 x 2s. But like always...I wanted more outta my E Maxx. So I picked up a cheap Kershaw Designs Revolver XL motor from Dan at KD. I only run 4s so I decieded with Dans help to get the XL7 2370kv 3674 canned motor. I figured the extra 9mm of motor would give me a little extra "umph", but nothing could have prepared me for the outragous power this motor pushes out. My E Maxx is of course a BIG boy and with a set of Big Joes its just a monster! But under load the KD Revolver excelled! Fast and immense amounts of torque. First run with ESC at defult setting it was just too much. I pulled the trigger and this massive truck did a complete back flip back to all fours! Ive had several motors in the truck so far. Started with a AMMO 3656 1900kv which I have to say is a nice motor for $65! Smooth and cool. But like always I wanted more. Then the EZ and now with the Kershaw motor I sctuslly had to dial down the ESC for the first time. So far Ive dropped the puch down two setting and the timming down a notch. The Maxx still will run head to head with my E Revo with a Mamba Monster! After 1/2 hr of bashing and speed runs up and down the street the motor stayed cool on a summer afternoon. It maxed out 140 without the HW heatsink and fan. But I keep ut on to keep everything cool under the body. But this is one of the best motors I ever bought for its price. Now after mulipal runs iits still going strong and just as basher worthy as ever.
