ok im haveing my dilema again what should i get the savage x ss or the revo 3.3
I wanted the revo cus I just HATE pull starts and an ez start sound great,
I wantd the savage cus everyone sais they are the best and i can build it my self
I dont race only bash but maybe when i get a car and i can go myslf to the races then i can go race....
i dont really care right now how tough it it because i like to upgrade and claim that i made the upgrade....
the revo also has reverse the savage does not plus it has a tunning engine dvd i think......BUT...... I like the savage cus of its size,,,,, i wanted something big and the, specs are....
hight of savage is 10" revo 5"
length of savage 21" revo 19.4"
width of savage 7" revo 7"
so as u see here the savage is bigger. The price is better except one thinkg if i buy the rorot start like the revo has the ez start and put a 3 channle radio with reverse then the price will ether be more or aboutt the same i think more but watever, so theres not much difference in the price.
I wanted something witha good ground clearence that can drive orver anyhting easily, especiall grass my rc10gt can not do that. I want something with an easy to start methiod and easy engine. something pretty fast.
all my hobby shops supply parts for both so i dont have to worry about that.
But i just cant decide more. My mind is maid up im gonna get one of these 2 please do not recommend anthing else. just please help me out in these.

the revo is a good basher/ racer, the savage needs some work to get it raceable. i have not had a savage (yet) but i know i beat the hell out of my revo. skate parks, bashes, dirt jumps and if nothing more, trees.
a little more $ is the lst2. im very happy with mine! and it has all you want. size, roto start, reverse, plus a hi/low gear setting.

Both are great trucks.
Out of the box, the revo will probably be a little faster. Reverse is overrated. When I have a truck that has it, I ususally avoid using it.
I really think it will come down to personal oppinion. Or Loyality. A lot of people will only buy Traxxas, and some people love HPI.

I have both and both are great. I've had a few savy's and they take alot of abuse. I just got my revo and put a os.18 tm in it and all I can say is wow. It goes everywhere my savage goes.
I'd say go for whichever you may like certain things about. Make a pro's and con list. I hear the reverse is weak on the revo but hard as nails on the savage. I myself prefer pullstart so the ez start thing wasn't a big deal. I removed it from both trucks and went pull. I love them both and don't know if I could pick one or the other. Main diff for me was one's a bigblock and the other small. .
