Attention New 16.8 volt Twin Powered E-Maxx Owners

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Attention: for those of you that have just purchased or are planning on purchasing the new E-Maxx, we now have Series connectors with either Traxxas or deans connectors on them so you can charge both of you battery packs at the same time as if they were one pack. The Traxxas Series connector can be found here.http://www.maxamps.com/products.php?cat=78 So now if you purchase a charger like Hyperion EOS0606i AC/DC charger you can hook two 7 cell NimH packs together with the Series adapter and Charge both packs as a single 14 cell pack. Or do the same with a pair of Li-Po's.

Hey Jason,
those links didn't work :( I looked for the correct links on MaxAmps but didn't see them. I was also going to ask about the safety of doing multi lipo packs. I charge a 2 2s packs now for my dragster, and do them 1 at a time.

Is there a special charger that is needed?

Hey Brian, you just need a charger that can handle the cell count. Your two 2S pack would be charged as a 4s pack. We can also make you a balanc adapter that will go from the 2 packs to a 4S tap. And I fixed the link. As far a safety not a problem, it's just like charging any other li-po.
