Hi all.
My name is Kevin. I've been in R/C's off and on again since I was like 10 years old. I've owned some buggies, trucks, cars, etc. One of my first R/C's was a Junior T. I used to just bash and was never part any club or racing...until recently. I mostly run electric rigs. Nitros are cool, but just not my thing.
Last year I got back into R/C's when I stumbled across rock crawling. I met up with a bunch of guys here in MN and we started a club: MNRCRC. This is our second year, and we are growing fast! I am very active in our rock crawling club. I do everything I can to help our club function. I'm our USRCCA Committee representative, website administrator, main judge, score keeper, etc. It keeps me busy.
Just this year, I started to check out the local drag racing. I've talked to Roy Anderson, and he invited me out to their track. I went there once and really like it. The following race I used their track car and competed for my first time in the bracket class. I didn't do too bad for my first time out; I made it to the finals. I got to meet some great people out there. Now, I'm looking to buy a car of my own so I can race some more.
