I think the big companies that make our glow plugs have gone stone crazy!!! I was looking at the prices of the plugs and I now think we will have to take out bank loans to run our nitro powered cars. Get ready for this..... O'Donnell is making and selling turbo plugs for under $5 bucks a pop!!! $5 a pop aint cheap but compaired to the $11 buck Nova plugs it is a nice idea to try..... I got a strange feeling that O'Donnell will skyrocket in price as soon as they think they have us by the cherries to. but for now I think I will give em a try. Whats your thoughts on this???
Oh, By the way I noticed that O.S had a heart and lowored the price of thier turbo plugs then I seen it was to push out thier new BIG BUCKS plugs aswell... lol

I HAVE NEVER SEEN A DIFFERENCE IN PERFORMANCE BETWEEN TWO BRANDS OF PLUGS AS LONG AS THEY ARE THE SAME HEAT RANGE. I HAVE SPOKEN TO MANY WELL KNOWN PEOPLE IN R/C DRAG'S THAT HAVE SAID THE SAME THING. A GLOW PLUG IS A GLOW PLUG. NOVAROSSI IS GETTING RETARDED WITH THEIR PRICES. THE STANDARD TURBO LINE IS NOW DISCONTINUED. THAT MEANS THE $11.50 ULTRA LINE IS THERE BOTTOM OF THE SHELF PLUG. I PERSONALLY WILL NOT BE STOCKING NOVAROSSI PLUGS ONCE I AM SOLD OUT. I WILL BE STOCKING MERLIN PLUGS AND RUNNING THEM IN MY CARS. THEY ARE ALOT MORE AFFORDABLE 6-7$ RANGE AND JUST SPEAKING WITH AL FROM MERLIN, I AM CONFIDENT IN HIS PRODUCT AND KNOWLEDGE.

DRAGRACE CONCEPTS.

2slo , you pick plugs to complain about , you have thousands invested in your cars , hundreds into fuel and a few buck for some plugs ? I mean seriously , lets talk about the engines or the mods on the engines , or the price of the cars , but plugs?? Dont lean um out and you might get more than 2 races out of them ;p

lol, Steve the point is that exactly.... these cars are exspensive as all heck and buy trying to get the most performance out of the engines we often go over that fine tune line and blow a glowplug from time to time. Novarossi now hitting us for $11 bucks a plug is insane if you ask me. but seeing that just to run these lil multi-dollar monsters cost $15 to $20 a day, now ad fuel at (track pirce) $15 a quart. a fresh pair of tires $25 and 2 to 3 glowplugs at $11 a piece makes for a (Dang Near) $100 weekend and Gosh forbid you break something( oh my!!!) after about 30 to 40 plugs you can start building a new car. To make a long one short we need to cut cost somewhere and why not start with one of the cheaper parts, THE PLUGS!!! I just got a handfull (10)of the O'Donnells for under $50 tax included... That aint even 4 of the nova plugs.... I do know that Diehard guys will be just that, but spending extream amounts of money on my hobby is getting old to me.

so get out of the hobby lol I am sure a few people wouldnt mind lol
As you know I dont play with teh fast toys anymore , I am actually enjoying bashing my LST's .
I have more fun jumping and not worring about my tune as much , has brought fun back to a hobby that was becoming a never ending money pit .
Stock used to be a very nasty word in my book , but now ... stock is pretty cool . To spend 300 on an rc car/truck and after the firsdt weekend still only be into the hobby for 300 bux is kinda nice .
I was cleaning up around here and found 12 engines yes I said 12 mostly novarossi's a few collari's a pico and a stocker or 2 . NO I AM NOT SELLING
But its just to show that things get out of control.
I know a few of you have a couple of thousand wrapped up into this drag race thing , its fun I see it , but sometimes to really enjoy it , you should take a step back , and enjoy a stock onroad/offroad RC again .

just a thought from a former RC junkie who now has more fun just bashing .
No competition, No fighting , No Bickering , NO he/she said , JUST FUN with friends .
