that Granite is gonna be an animal...... how do the shocks feel Evan?? stiffly sprung and damped?? is it leaking any shock oil??

So far...I'm impressed. The shocks feel pretty good...maybe a little under dampened...just a little. Springs feel okay though, and I don't see any leaks...yet. The tires are what really impressed me. They are a lot softer than I figured they'd be for your standard RTR. I bet the hook up pretty well for an out of the box set...

Yea.. make it easier on the landings from the roof!

I hope the battery tray is bigger than the one on the buggy.

The battery tray is MUCH bigger. More like the one on the Fury. No problem putting a 2S 5000mah hard case lipo in.

Craig... Bigger is probably better,

You making it outta wood or plexi-glass? I've never priced plexi in full sheets before, but may have a line on some 'please buy me cause I over bought' sheets if your interested.

Looks like they actually protect the motor! Finally someone with a brain says 'maybe we should cover the expensive stuff, and not just let it hang all out back there'

Jim, we have priced plexi, and it's always been way too expensive!
If you have a line on some.. let me know! It would be cool!

Foams feel soft to medium. Probably about right for the tires which are a little firm, but have some decent flex. And yes, this has that same brushed motor and waterproof ESC as the other vehicles.
