I did finally buck up and get an SCTE after watching Cubby and Tim drive them at iHobby this year. Went with a Mamba Max Pro and a Castle 1415 4-Pole. The truck is a beast...

It's basically a non-racer version of the Hot Bodies buggy Tim runs... I'm going to at least have something to drive at iHobby next year besides that poochy Torment and the track drone

I had a blast driving the track drone. but the torment, that was a nasty truck to drive.

I actually ended up getting one to let newcomers drive when I'm out bashing something way fast like my buggy. A kid comes up and looks interested, I always have a pack or two ready and the Torment with me. Fast enough for a newbie, durable, and not so fast they can kill someone with it.
