I think the first video up at the top, was the one I was surprised by the speed. Though, I think I read another post about you having a brushless in there.. which makes sense.
I'll probably upgrade mine to brushless when I'm done with the review.

the motor is actually shown at the beginning credits along with the gearing.. multiplex permax 400/4d geared at 16/41
my truggy video im using a great planes ammo 28-35-3900 geared at 19/41

Sweet vid! Man, you really get some air at those speeds!
So far I haven't broken anything on my ST, but I'm also not going that fast. Looking forward to dropping a mamba in shortly.

mamba wont work.. the motor is too small and not powerful enough to push the detta effeciently,, just check this thread for info http://www.bigsquidrc.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=348
