Everyone has been talking about the dog bone issues of the RC18T. We have been racing them in a parking lot for fun during lunch, and even with just a little 1 foot bike ramp, I have witnessed them flying out several times. It's definitely a pain, and you have no chance of finding that little spring that is supposed to be helping hold it in. So instead of stoping after every few laps to check to see if the dog bones are still in, I decided to try a few mods I have heard about.
The first was to put shrink tubeing over the dog bones and the out drive cup. This was pretty easy to do, and seemed to be working good.
Here's a pic.

While testing the Mamba brushless, the high rpm's caused them to start to slide off. So now I'm testing the compression sleeve mod.

So far so good, but I have not driven it that much yet. I'll keep ya posted!

You may still need to try this mod. A friend of mine picked up the Team Assoicated CVD set, and his are still falling out, so we needed to mod it anyway.

Let me know how the MIP set is! If you still have issues or not.
