Man thats a wicked vid. Were you using the stock battery or lipo's? Was everything easy to install and were there any complications getting it to work?

We ran them with all sorts of batteries, but mostly with the Lipo's. They just last sooo much longer, and have so much power, it's amazing. Everything was really easy to install, the only issue was the LiPo's didn't really fit well inside the RC18T battery tray. I'll make sure to bring them to the Berwyn BBQ event so people can check them out!

The only other issue is that we added the mods to cover up the dog bones on the RC18T since those things seem to fall out on their own. But the mods were way easy, check out this post

i picked up a thunder power 3 cell 11.1 volt lipo pack. a little mod and it fits perfectly.

Wow.. that thing looks big. How heavy is it? Although I guess it's probably the same as the normal stock 7.2v pack. The apogee ones were a small lengthwise, just a little wide.

Can you post a picture of the other side of your truck where the motor is? I'd like to see the setup. As you can see in mine, we jammed the speed control between the motor and the servo, which works decent, but it's a little more snug then I would like. I also like seeing what other people have done.

there is another opening next to the motor that you can use for the antena. then i cut the stock antena mount to put the esc and rx in top. it also keeps the antena a little more protected. ive addad integy allum rims and tires, and also made a camers body. the two side bezzles have two leds each.







i also cut a small hole in the front of the body to help cool the esc and motor.
