built another chassis off of a pdf file posted on the crawler site.

the motor sits a little to far out the side, so im going to build a tube frame guard for it. also added matching jr servos and some buggy shocks.

Looks good. I recognized the Axial axles and rims, saw the Losi's too, but I can't place that tranny. I wouldn't worry as much of protecting the tranny as I would worry about the offset weight from where the motor sits. In 2 of the pics it looks like the motor is way out there. I've ran both Bender chassis', and with a pede or a RC4WD R2 trans in either the motor will sit outside the side plate a bit. I've never damaged a tranny from a direct impact.

The chassis looks pretty good. Do you have holes to adjust your links? Link placement can make a world of difference in it's performance.

yeah i have a couple holes for the links top and bottom. the motor is what i was going to build a cage for. i off set the weight by placing the battery on the other side. the trans and axles are from a wheely king.

is there a place to crawl there? tex said he seen a spot near there. just need to get ng to go. ill see about this sunday. have to check it out first. maybe we could head over to woodridge anyway. i want to run the mantis. finaly got done breaking in the .28rrand now it screeeeeeeeems!!!
