We Need a Track to Race on. this every other week is just right, we only have a couple of month left of good weather. i don't see why we can't get together and organize to have the track open every week (lynwood). I think we have a great chance to grow big. cause its a lot of guys who spent a lot of money on cars to run, and not to sit on the shelf and guy if he charge 6 to 10 bucks don't complant you can't get no run testbetter than this. run test and tune for acoule of hours an then run a bracket
Competition after that to make it interresting.

thanks bowl822

From the perspective of another track owner, if I had to set my deal up every week, I'd get burnt out real fast.

Dude, every-other-week would be fine but we are getting the once-in-a-while treatment. Its making me want to go back to running my boats, all I had to do to run my boats was go outside.

I say charge 10.00 flat. And have one guy setup one week. you set up the other week. Then the guy helping you can make a few bucks for his time. I would be willing to help if he needed. if it's a test and tune. Do a best of ET or RT for 50.00 bucks,or a bracket. We here are just so used to racing EVERY WEEKEND.... So I feel your guys PAIN....................... I do

I wanted to come out pretty bad last night and run my dragster but it was only one problem, I didn't have it ready. I fell asleep with my dragster in my hands, and like magic when I woke up it was done. I hope the Dragster Fairy did a good job and the car stays together. The Modded TZ will have to do till my BigBlock arrives from Cali...

You guys can have Drag Racing, I just went out and snagged a BIG BAD RED 3.3 T-MAXX....... I didn't need any sticky, no track and no tree and I can tell you my T-Maxx is for sure a bad boy!!!!! It climbed the curbs ran through the dirt, rocks and water like nothing was there, jumped hills tore up the grass and didn't even look twice at the pile of dog crap it splashed through. THIS TRUCK IS HARDCORE!!!!!!!!! 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

I can say that running on a weekly bases can burn some drivers out. As for being an owner of a track, there is no point of owning a track if you are not going to have a consistant schedule for people to come out.

Have no fear for one day there shall be a track that allows the racers to run WHENEVER THEY FEEL THE NEED TO RUN.
Lets say you work all weekend long and you only have Tuesday and Wednesday off, you can reserve the track for the times that you want to run and the days that best fit the racers needs. The new track will be indoors ( a purpose built building )so bad weather is never a concern. I can't promise that it will be 80 degrees in the dead of winter but a nice warm 60 might be more like it. Video cams looking at the track to record your token runs for you. Inground oil heaters make sure that the track surface stays betreen 70 to 80 degrees. Question is how far would you be willing to travel to get to such a place? And would you guys really support it? And to put the cherry on top a crappy cam with a crappy view to watch from home via the internet when you just can't make it but you need a fix 8) 8) 8)
