Just to say Hello

First off, many thanks to Brian for keeping Big Squid RC such a great site…

Michael here, checking in from the North Chicago area. I’m 39 years young and still living my childhood, just with bigger toys. I’ve been playing in RC for about 5 years but watching and learning for about 10. I do have a few helis but my main obsession is the cars and trucks that are out there. 16 years in the US Navy have allowed me to bash in places that were wonderful and very damaging to the wallet in terms of parts! I’ve been trying to work a little racing into my schedule but haven’t been too successful, yet.

Along with my wife Shelby, we have one son (Evan aka Future Basher #1) and another son that will make his presence known in a few months. Look out world I’ve already had the controller in Evan’s hands and he does a mean high speed run into the wall!
