LaTrax Alisa Quad-Rotor Heli
The guys over at LaTrax have announced a new quadcopter called the Alias. LaTrax says the first objective of the Alias was durability, hence the reason it has a tough molded frame. LaTrax also says the motors on the Alias put out 50% more power than normal motors, so it should have plenty of power for pulling crazy stunts. Some of the other features and specifications of the Alias include-

* Intergrated LED lights
* 3 flight modes- easy, fast, expert
* Telemetry-enabled battery gauge on transmitter
* 650 mAh Lipo w/ USB charger
* Auto-leveling 6-axis flight system
* 2.4GHz radio system
* Rotor diameter: 5.51″
* Rotor center distance diagonal: 9.25″
* Width: 12.07″
* Flight weight: 3.53 oz
* Lifetime electronics warranty

The part number for the Alias is #6608, it has a street price of $149, and they are shipping right now. Hit up This Link for more information.

    So what is this one a knock-off of??????

  2. Adam W said this nonsense:

    Keli Snyder is pretty. I saw her in person at a LOORRS race. Too bad they only shot her from the neck up.

  3. Chevis attempted to articulate the following, but failed:

    Wow, lifetime electronics warranty. That’s pretty strong. If it weren’t for the new Blade with the detachable camera I’d be all in.

    haha comments are always disabled for traxxas’s youtube vids

    but the alias looks pretty cool, lots of useful features, both for the quadcopter and transmitter. like the new twist or rotate mode, and being able to turn on stabilization w the press of a button. and it has a nice visual appearance.

    should be easy and simple to stick a lil camera under it, people have attaching cameras to quads that dont come w a built in mounted cam for a while now……….

    I like the looks of this one,the larger size is a big plus and should do pretty well in a little wind outdoors. The programming should make it fun to fly for a wide range of pilots and the colors and lights will make knowing which way its facing far away a lot easier if it gets pushed around by some wind. Ive got some HD 808 cams it could carry nicely. I’ll have to take a look at them and maybe fly a demo model if they have them at the local shop.
