LiPo Shootout 2 – Weight Comparison Test
Each pack was weighed “ready to drive” with a Dean’s Ultra plug installed. The scale we used was a Pelouze SP5. This is not some uber high end measurement device, but it was used in a consistent method for each pack, and we checked weight multiple times. Also of note- we awarded maximum points for the lightest pack, but in the real world, the heavier the pack, typically the more current it was designed to put out. But still, one of the big “up sides” to Li-po is a weight savings, so the lightest pack wins this category.
