THE TrakPower MS Series 10.5 Turn Brushless Racing System Review
You don’t see a lot of sensored 10.5 brushless systems being used by hardcore bashers. Why? Because they typically don’t have the yank needed for the bashing crowd. Today we’ll be taking an in depth look at the latest sensored system from TrakPower, their MS Series 10.5, to see if it is bash worthy or if it should be left for track use only. Let’s jump right in shall we?
You’ve seen that 3D Printers are becoming all the rage, here is an example of how they can be used in rc. The spiked wheels in the pictures were made from a 3D printer and you can make them at home too. First you have to buy a 3D printer, then you have to visit Thingiverse and download the spiked wheel file. Feed the file into your printer and sha-zam, you end up with a set of crazy spiked wheels. The person sharing the file over on Thingiverse, kallaspriit, says the spiked wheels get great traction on snow, but they look like they would get a lot of traction on most any loose surface.

Last fall we posted some pictures of a new 3 wheeled bash machine from RedCat called the S-TRYK-R. It seems we weren’t the only people liking the uniqueness of the S-TRYK-R, it aquired quite a following on the web and it had not even been released yet.

Cubby isn’t the only Formula 1 fan at the BSRC offices, in fact several of our guys have spent many a late night glued to the tv watching open wheel racing from around the world. We just posted the ECX Revenge Review. While going through some video footage, we caught this accidental wall slam that seemed like something we should share. Usually we do this stuff on purpose, this one was out of the blue, got lucky, and caught it. Enjoy!
That’s one of those slams that just makes you cringe. For the record, I believe Adam or I were driving in the first two test laps you see, and then we handed the transmitter over to Wrench.
