Big Squid RC - Mad Dash 2005 Pictures Sorry I didn't get to many action shots because I was doing a lot of racing! I went undefeated to the finals, then lost to a guy I beat in the first race! Doh! Darn double elimination! ;) That's ok though, it was a great race! His Hot Bodies Lightning GT with a Picco .26 was just a little too fast for me to catch after I made a mistake and rolled it in the slalom part. I met a bunch of new people, answered a lot of questions, and even got a few new people interested in RC! One of the people I talked with literally walked over to the hobby shop after asking me a few questions and bought a new Monster Truck! More info about the event is posted in the Off-Road Forum. It was cool to meet a few people that were fans of the web site, and see some Big Squid stickers on trucks.
