RC Pro – Traxxas – TORC RC Info

This weekend is the kick off for the TORC RC events during the Traxxas TORC Series. RC Pro and Traxxas will hit Texas Motor Speedway Wednesday morning to start setting up for the weekend. The RC track build will begin then along with setup of the drivers stand and pit area. The following will be the weekend schedule for the TORC RC event.

May 15th 2009 9:00am Gates Open
May 15th 2009 9:00am – 4:30pm Practice
May 15th 2009 5:00pm – 7:00pm Practice Race
Saturday
May 16th 2009 9:00am Gates Open
May 16th 2009 9:00am – 11:30am Practice
May 16th 2009 10:00am Sign-ups Close
May 16th 2009 11:30am Drivers Meeting
May 16th 2009 12:00pm Races Start

We will be able to finalize the saturday schedule once entries are finished. There will be breaks scheduled in to watch the Traxxas TORC races during the day. The TORC RC racing will be finished by dark on Friday and Saturday. The majority of the full scale races will be under the lights both nights so we should all get to see the majority of the racing. The TV broadcast of the TORC event will be on Sunday May 24th at 11am EST on ESPN2. If you can’t make it to the event be sure to watch the broadcast and see some of the TORC RC on TV.
