Spektrum S6240RX Servo Receiver

Spektrum S6240RX Servo With Built In Receiver

Whoa, what’s this? Spektrum has a new servo that has a receiver built in. That servo is the S6240RX and it could change they way we look at electronics. A servo using a built in receiver can make it much easier to hide electronics in your scale build, or it can save a lot of space in the tight confines of a 1/10th scale buggy or F1 car. Furthermore, if you combine the S6280 with a brushless motor that has a built in ESC (like the Dynamite Tazer Twin 2-N-1), you’ll only have two pieces of electronics in your car, a servo and a motor, instead of the traditional four. Doing that can save a lot of wiring, weight, and space.

* Built in SR2010 high speed 2 Channel DSMR Spektrum receiver
* Fits in a wide variety of different applications
* Tough metal gears
* Shorter servo case than many standard 1/10 sized servos
* 208 oz-in of torque at 6 volts
* Speed is 0.08 sec/60 deg at 6 volts
* Dual bearings
* Coreless motor design

Pricing for the S6240RX is $139, its part number is #SPMSS6240RX, and these should start shipping later this month. The first shipment is expected to sell out fast on this one, so you’ll want to get one on pre-order to be the first guy on your block to own one. Want all the finer details?
