What is going to be the hottest Christmas Gift this year? That would be the Sphero BB-8 Droid and they will be available from your Horizon Hobby dealer. If your LHS is a Horizon dealer, they will have access to the “most likely to be sold out everywhere” BB-8.

Just what is the Sphero BB-8 and why would you want one? It is a droid that can be controlled by your smart device, featuring some of the latest tech to hit the rc world. Watch the video below to see it in action, but to boil it down, the BB-8 is a character from the latest Star Wars movie, The Force Awakens and looks to be a “must have” toy for Star Wars enthusiasts (and pretty much everyone else walking the planet). You can even create, send, and view virtual holographic videos with it!
