Pro-Line at the 2012 iHobby Expo

Our friends over at Pro-Line Racing are here iHobby showcasing all their ultra-trick bodies and tires. New for iHobby is their front and rear Slash bumpers that not only look a lot better than stock, but are engineered to really take a beating.

Also showcased in the Pro-Line booth is their new Bulldog cab-forward style bodies for the Traxxas Stampede and Rustler. The Bulldog bodies for the Traxxas trucks help keep the front end down at high speeds and also enhance steering.

One of the coolest things on display at the show is Pro-Line’s new Chevy Silverado HD clear body for the Traxxas Slash and Slash 4×4. The Chevy body looks good in pictures, but absolutely gorgeous in person.

Pro-Line has just announced three new Bulldog bodies for the B44.1, DEX410 and DEX210. These bodies have that mean and aggressive stance us bashers (and racers) like to see.

If your ride needs freshening up, then a great place to start is a new shell. Pro-Line have got two new BullDog shells, for buggy and truggy, to point you in the right direction. Ty Tessmann has developed them, adding fins and changing the angle of the windshield for better cooling and even better performance, combined with an awesome forward cab design.

Pro-Line BullDog body for Kyosho ZX-5

Some days I think about just copying and pasting the old announcements for these bodies and just changing the name of whatever car it’s for now. But that wouldn’t be fair, not to you, not to Brian, not to Pro-Line or the other companies. But trying to be original when writing about a new BullDog body, this time for Kyosho’s uber Lazer ZX-5 4wd buggy, is a bit tough. I mean, you know I’m going to tell you all about the cab forward design that increases down force all along the body and improves driving performance. And you know that it will include window masks, decals, and overspray film. So what original, unique thing can I say about it?

Anyway, this new version of the BullDog body will be available toward the end of this month, with an MSRP similar to the other versions of the BullDog buggy body. Check out the Pro-Line website for more info.

Pro-Line Bulldog body for “THE Car”

So who had four months in the “How long before Pro-Line releases a BullDog cab-forward style body for JQ’s THE Car” pool? Personally, I had three days, so I lost by quite a bit. I think Brian gets the prize money. Anyway, you can expect to find all the usual kind of stuff that normally accompanies a new body, such as decals, window masks, overspray film, and all that jazz. It’s made from some nice and beefy .040″ Lexan, so it’ll be lightweight while also being durable.

THE BullDog body for THE Car will be shipping from Pro-Line on the 23rd of this month, but you can pre-order it now at a cost of $29.95. Check out the Pro-Line website for more info.

Pro-Line BullDogifying Associated T4.1

Pro-Line, not content with having a BullDog body for nearly every platform, has decided to keep expanding the line. The next truck in line to receive the cab forward design is the RC10T4.1. Like every other Pro-Line body, this one will come with all the requisite decals, masks, and overspray film.
