Hobbytech 1/8 STR8 EPX2 DS Rally Sport

You may remember HobbyTech from THIS post on their 8th scale concept car, but today they’ve announced their new STR8 EPX2 DS Rally Sport. This new Hobbytech is an 8th scale 4wd rally car that comes as either a roller with just the chassis and clear body, or in “race edition” that includes 2.4 GHz radio, brushless power, Lipo battery, charger, and Savox servo.

We received no word on price point or a possible release date on the EPX2 DS, although they did mention a nitro version coming out in the next couple of weeks. Also, Hobbytech is not distributed here in the states so getting one in your hands might be hard, but not impossible. To view all of Hobbytech’s other products HERE is a link to their website.

Kyosho Plazma LM GTP Series

Kyosho has a new series of cars with licensed bodies from vintage Lemans GTP racers. The Plazma LM GTP series are 12th scale pan cars that should corner like they are on rails. As seen in the picture above, the first car up is a Porsche 962, we can’t wait to see which other models Kyosho adds to the series.

Kyosho Inferno MP9e TKI 8th Scale Electric Buggy

8th scale electric buggies are still mega-hot and make incredible bash machines. On the high-end side of things Kyosho has just announced their new Inferno MP9e TKI buggy. The Kyosho MP9e TKI utilizes many of the advancements from the TKI3 nitro buggy including-

Serpent Cobra 811 BE 2.0 8th Scale Electric Buggy Kit

If you are looking to build a high end 8th scale electric buggy before the Spring season starts, Cobra has just announced their latest, the Cobra 811 B-E 2.0. The latest Cobra offers all the latest technology and some very high grade materials, resulting in a buggy that should be a great piece of machinery. Some of the new features of the 811 BE 2.0 include-

* New wider rear end with new geometry for more rear traction
* Rear shocks moved to the back of the shocktower
* Longer rear shocks; with longer housing and shock rods for more travel
* Rear wing with integrated holders for the ballraced rear anti-roll bar
* Longer rear lower arms, new higher carbon shocktower, new upright
* Lexan mud-guards to mount on lower rear arms
* Nylon mud-scrapers mount on the rear uprights
* Improved differential gears – as already in the Be version

The crew over at Precirotate have announced a new version of their Proken buggy called the S1 V2. The new Version 2 comes with multiple updates, like an improved chassis, more bling, and a new cab forward body. If you are looking for something different to race in the 2wd buggy class, the PR S1 V2 should certainly stand out in a crowd of Durango, Associated, and Losi. Some of the specifications include-

The all new product line-up from Horizon Hobby is called Vaterra RC. Vaterra is said to be Adventure Driven and their initial product line-up includes 4 electric off-road vehicles and 3 on-road machines.
