Remember the long hours spent over on One18th looking at thread after thread of ubered-out HPI Micro RS4s? Yes, the BigSquid crew has been there too. Then the micro market died out, One18th went away, and so did aftermarket interest in the littlest HPI touring car.
HPI has recently released some new Micro RS4s and now we are starting to see new option parts again. For example, Exotek has just announced a new ball diff w/ titanium axle and front CVDs. The Micro RS4 market may never return to what it once was, but it’s nice to see new upgrade parts for it.
The part number for the Exotek ball diff is #1381 and it has a street price of $30. For the CVDs the part number is #1382 with a street price of $16.

The crew over at HPI Racing have put out one of the coolest rc drift videos we’ve seen. It features the HPI Ken Block Micro RS4 doing some intricate (and insane) footage, and even has a BigSquidRC worthy ending! Check out the video below, and you can hit up This Link to get more information on the Ken Block Micro RS4.

Right after the announcement of their new Ken Block Micro RS4 the good guys over at HPI announced the Falken Tire 2013 Ford Mustang. The Justin Pawlak Edition Falken Mustang comes on the Micro RS4 RTR chassis featuring a 2.4 GHz radio system, waterproof servo, full size electronics and hard drift tires. The 4wd Micro RS4 platform is one of my ATF (all time favorites), they are tough as nails and can be used nearly anywhere, the new Falken Tire version should be a blast to drift around the cul-de-sac.
The part number for the Falken Tire Mustang is #111230 and it comes with everything you need to get up and running inside the box. For more information over on the HPI website THIS IS THE LINK you want.
