LRP had something for the nitro guys, now something for the electric runners. Two new competition grade ESCs are on the block. The SXX Competition Version 2 Brushless ESC is LRP’s suggestion for 1/12 scale on-road and 2wd off-road while the SXX TC spec Version 2 Brushless ESC is what they recommend for owners of touring cars and 4wd off-road buggies. Both of them are capable of running up to 2s LiPo with the “Autocell” feature selecting the proper low voltage cutoff. Both are also software upgradeable via USB, have the “TwinBEC” feature that eliminates the need for a separate receiver pack in 1S racing, and offer complete adjust-ability using the ADPCMOD software. The biggest difference between the two are their motor limits. The Competition is rated for over 4.5 turn motors while the TC spec is rated for over 3 turns.

For more info on both of these speed controls be sure to check out the LRP web site.
