EXOtek has a couple new items for a couple high-end cars.  Their new quick change shock posts for the HB TCX and Cyclone make changing shocks quicker.  But that’s really not all.  These new pieces are lighter than the stock setup and have a shorter barrel that reduces slop in the suspension setup.

Their other release of the day is a set of titanium wheel locking bolts the TLR 22.  They’re machined out of strong, yet light, titanium, and feature an angled locking serration to keep the 22′s front wheels securely on the buggy.  Because there’s nothing worse than driving a car and then having a wheel pop off.

The list prices are $12.95/pair for the 22′s locking bolts and $28.95/set of four for the TCX Quick Change shock posts.  Check out the EXOtek website for more info.

If your Hot Bodies TCX racing sedan isn’t high-end enough for you, well, you could always add even more high-end hop-ups to it.  Roche Products happens to have just such a thing for you with their new Heavy Duty Spool Set.  The Spool Set is precision machined out of spring steel for durability.  If you choose to use this, then you’ll have to replace your drive shafts with Tamiya or Yokomo dog bones 45.5-46mm in length.

Roche’s Heavy Duty Spool Set is available direct from the Roche website for $18.80.

Hot Bodies TCX
Wondering when you will be able to get your hands on the Hot Bodies new TCX Sedan? Well wait no more! I have heard that the TCX will be shipping at the beginning of August!

Hot Bodies has a cool new sedan.  The TCX is a very high-end race bred kit built to meet the exacting demands of hardcore racers.  It’s a LiPo/LiFe ready chassis that features 50/50 weight distribution, plenty of adjustment options in the suspension, and tons of great looking purple aluminum and carbon fiber.  As with most high end kits expect to provide pretty much everything to get it running and you’re going to end up paying out the nose for this bad boy at a MSRP of $930.00.
