As to date I’ve helped mostly the bashers get their Slashes a little faster and stronger. This report is about making the Traxxas Slash carve those corners a little faster and tighter. The Slash is based off of the Stampede and Rustler suspension design. Which is very strong and great for the basher, but really [...]
Here are two pictures of the Traxxas 1/16 Mini Revo and Slayer that are production versions! These are not the mock ups that were at the iHobby show, but actually rolling/working vehicles show at the 1/18th scale nats! Price will be around $199 for brushed versions and $320 for brushless! Did ya know ROAR will crown at least 23 national champions this year? Holy cow, that’s probably a higher number than the reincarnations of the Horizon/Losi Mico-T, Mini-T, and Mini-LST combined! (And nearly as high as the number of hate mails I get each week) Remember how that el’ cheapo 8th scale buggy won the [...]

Traxxas Series 3 Power Cells are a good balance of price and run time. They have a 7-cell 8.4v hump pack that will fit in most Traxxas Models (except E-Maxx and E-Revo). The extra cell will get you about 5mph more, which is pretty good for just changing out your batter pack and you are [...]

Traxxas has now created waterproof versions of their Stampede, Rustler and Bandit. The XL-5 speed control and high torque servos now have blue cases to signify they are waterproof and have completely sealed electronics. In addition, they are also brushless ready with the same steel gears found in the VXL editions. This is pretty big [...]
