File this under wowza.. Here is video of two RC helicopters lifting a woman off the ground. This is crazy on all sorts of levels, from dangerous to mind blowing that they didn’t just slam into each other. It had to take a TON of practice and trial runs to get this right. Either way, it’s impressive and a must see!

The Snowbirds Nationals is one of the biggest rc races in the world. Each year hundreds of racers flock to Florida and race 24 hours a day to get their rc fix. All that racing can get stressful, so as a way of blowing off steam they hold a Figure 8 Race. Our friends over at Horizon Hobby took some video of the Figure 8 race this year to show everyone just how crazy it gets. Enjoy the massive collisions and hit up This Link to see all the products that Horizon has to offer. They even have a Valentines special of free shipping on every order for the next couple of days.
Thank Goodness It’s Friday, have a go at a BigSquidRC Mystery Link.
Check out the video of the Corvette Museum sink hole from a quadcopter camera. Not the best flying in the world, but still cool to see how deep inside this thing is, and how scary the rest is. No way you’d catch us standing nearly that close to the edge knowing there’s nothing under most of that floor.
Need to send 3DBill down there, he would of been doing rolls and flips, probably would of flown inside one of the Corvettes!
The Carisma M48S Porsche 959 won’t hit the states until March but it already has several staffers fighting over who gets to drive it first. To make it even worse, the folks over at Carisma have decided to wet our appetite even more by putting up a new video featuring the Porsche in action. The video shows the 959 tearing it up on the beach, throwing roost and generally have a good old fashioned bash session. Click to the video below to check it out yourself, and hit up This Link to visit the official Carisma website.

If you are squeamish about seeing quadcopters slammed into walls at full speed, dropped out of the sky, or hit like a baseball, you may not want to press play. You have been warned!

Team Durango has been teasing their new DETC410 high-end touring car for months. Now they’ve released a video that shows one of their team drivers, Elliott Harper, building the first production unit. The video is sped up to show the entire build, in the end it looks like a pretty trick piece of machinery.
The Durango DETC410 has a part number of #TD102023, they should have a street price of just under $400, and we are told they should start showing up at your LHS in late February.

Don’t let our basher exterior full you. Get any of us near a track and suddenly we become competitive. It could be fastest laps, or who can upset the local racers the quickest by using reverse and driving the wrong way on the track. I spotted this cool video over on the Hobbico video page that gives a bunch of tips on how to get a little racing program going. For those of you no where near a track, there are some good ideas here to get something going with your RC buddies.
It’s Friday.. that means Mystery Link time.
