For Bashers, By Bashers!

THE Cub Report – Icky Thump

Well hola there rc fans, welcome to my tiny lil’ weekly write-up in the rc world, something called THE Cub Report. I am going to keep it short and sweet this week (a promise I nearly always break), but I do have a couple things I would like to mention…

First up is some news from our Smash & Crash Ultra-Bash that we held over the weekend in the Chi-Town metro. Ya know, Mother Nature can have a temper sometimes, and with tornadoes and large hail in the forecast the same day as our event, turnout was a bit lower than we hoped for. We ended up with about 50 drivers, and much more importantly, we raised over $1,800 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital! The folks at the St Charles HobbyTown USA were a fantastic host for the event and we need to give huge props to all the drivers who showed up to participate. Yo seriously, you guys kick ass. Watch for pictures and video from the event soon.

While we are still early-on in the process, we are going to start teasing it now. It looks like we are going to be doing a bash in Southern California! Those of you that live in SoCal, keep the date of Saturday, October 14th open. It looks like we are going to be bring’n it hardcore BSRC style, we hope your trigger fingers and trucks are ready for full lunatic mode. More info on this one soon, Very soon…

Oh and… just because we love putting on events, we are working on our very first major scale crawling event. Our upcoming scale event will feature some killer natural terrain, plus some hardcore/BSRC style obstacles that will push your rig up to, and well beyond, its limits. This will go down in Q3 of ’17, and of course we’ll be posting more info as we get the date and venue dialed in.

Ok, see? I can keep it short when I really want to (read- I have a spot on the beach with my name on waiting for me). Until next week keep on bashing hard and support your local bash spots and hobby shops when ya can.
