Traxxas Slash 2WD LCG Conversion Kit TRA5830
One way to get better handling out of your Traxxas 2wd Slash is to put a low center of gravity chassis on it. Now Traxxas has released a complete LCG Conversion Kit for the Slash 2wd. It comes with a blue chassis and everything you need to make the conversion.

The part number for the Traxxas Slash conversion kit is TRA5830, it has a street price of $39, and you can expect to see them start hitting hobby shops next month.

  1. Riley C. attempted to articulate the following, but failed:

Wow, I’m excited to see how well this preforms. If it does well, you bet that is going on my Slash 2wd. About time Traxxas did something about the 2WD Slash platform.

  2. David said this nonsense:

Whats with the weird colors? Doesnt anyone make anything in black anymore??? If your going to make something in that blue color, why not just make it in Barney Purple. Come on, give me a break with these God awful colors!!!!

    • Jbritt166 proclaimed on this day:

Just to clarify David. Traxxas will offer a black and a grey chassis separately. The kit will have the blue chassis. The individual parts are pretty inexpensive.

  3. Mike bailey said:

I really never cared what color traxxas uses since a body covers it. Would like to have seen this couple years ago. I will get one though!

  4. patrick lewis proclaimed on this day:

When will this be avalible to buy online

  5. mike commented thusly:

I don’t get why thet just do a rustler chassis a bit longer. Seems like someone’s trying to make a big deal out of what should be simple.
